I’m a Grown Woman *Beyonce voice*

Some days you just really have to dress the part. I needed to put my big girl pants on today, so I did. My favorite part about this outfit is how comfortable it is. I like to take my business attire with a side of comfort. Here are the details! My silky black accented top is from JCREW Factory. They are sold out but you can get the tank version for summer ($45) and pair it a black blazer or cardigan. My stretch twill pants are seriously my favorite. They are as comfortable as a pair of leggings. I got them from JCREW Factory as well ($50).I paid $24 compared to $175. My shoes are Daisy by BCBG and I managed to get them for only $40 at TJMAXX. My bag is Harper by Francesca’s. It’s unfortunately unavailable now, but you can find a dupe at H&M ($50). Now for my arm candy.  My Stacy Dot watch is from Francesca’s and is a Kate Spade Dupe. My gold link chain bracelet is from TJMAXX, but Brina Box has a similar one on sale ($40). Happy shopping!

DIY Stackable Cross Bracelets

crossI have fallen in love with stackable cross bracelets. I have recently seen them popping up in stores and on some of my favorite sites. However, I thought 30 bucks was a little outrageous for one of these guys. I made each of mine for under $7 each! Talk about cheaper! Plus, they were so fun to make! I haven’t stopped wearing mine since I made them. They add the perfect touch of color to my outfits.

If you are interested in making your own, here’s what I used. All my  beads came from Michaels, but I found some look alikes on Amazon. Click the photo to be redirected. Enjoy!

If you choose to shop at Michael’s be sure and check out their coupons. I bought $50 worth of beads and got them for 20! 🙂 Happy crafting!

Embracing My Inner Jessa

I went hippy a few weekends back. I got so many questions about my outfit, I thought it’d be easiest to blog it. The dress is from Nordstroms. It’s sold out but you can get a dupe at for $44. Plus, your first order at Tobi is 50% off (so $22). My long snake chain layering necklace is form Nordstroms too for $16. ! Of course no hippy look is complete without a flower headband.  Mine is from Icings for $10 (they have so many to choose from there and they are BOGO 50%)! Since it’s winter, I paired my look with black opaque tights and some brown cowgirl boots. The opaque tight creates a less harsh contrast between the brown and black. I plan on ditching the tights once it warms up for the perfect summer look. 🙂
